Semper Fidelis Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Striving for correct, healthy, performance-driven, versatility

Obedience

I believe that Standard Obedience is a take it or leave it activity. Some people love obedience, and others... not so much. It takes lots of positive rewarding and training, but many Ridgebacks have gone on to become obedience Champions.

Something that may be a bit more challenging for the bored hound is Rally Obedience. It is a bit more fun, and involves you working as a team with your dog. You move around a pre-set course, and have to complete a task at each station that is set up. You are able to talk to the dog and encourage it around the entire course making it a bit more relaxing than standard obedience.
